The Machine Operator plays a key role in supporting the achievement of SetterStix’s business objectives by:

• Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.

• Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

. Perform pysical repairs to production machines. 

A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO:

·       Operate all machines in accordance with Setterstix safety standards and product specification sheets.  Machines comprise stick machine from paper loading to auto packer, the carton erector, printer, pointer.

·       This would include understanding of all applicable data noted on specification sheets and what actions need to be taken to satisfy specifications and regulatory requirements.

·       Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

·        Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.  

·      Assure product quality by performing regular Quality Control checks of stick characteristics while performing the machine technician function (length, diameter, stiffness, wax amount, etc.) according to SOP.

·        Assure quick problem solving and execution to achieve Setterstix targets

·        Complete all necessary paperwork used in the production process accurately.

·        Achieve the tasks following the standards of the Setterstix Quality Management System, inclusive of BRC.

• Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.

• Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO:

• Print sticks according to customer requirements and SOP

Pack and inspect cartons in accordance with Company procedures (For example, no sticks down the sides or oriented incorrectly in the carton, carton “full” to ensure no shift of contents when sealed, carton & flaps square when placed on the sealer line). 

• Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.

• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.

• Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.

• Secure finished packaged items by hand tying, sewing, gluing, stapling, or attaching fastener.

• Clean and remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials to prepare raw products for processing.

• Comply with all Company Safety requirements including:

• Adhere to Company “Food Safety & Quality” System: Good Manufacturing Practices & HACCP with special emphasis on attire, sanitation, security, documentation.

• Understand the Packing Line (shaker, hopper, switches, cleaning) process.

The Production Housekeeper plays a key role in supporting the achievement of SetterStix’s business objectives by:

·        Cleaning and sanitizing to support the achievement of GMP, BRC and employee satisfaction.

·        Cleaning, sanitizing, waste management, Floor care, inventory management supporting second shift operations.

A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO:

·        Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing production floors, workstations, equipment exteriors, and high-touch areas, especially in food-safe environments.

·        Collecting and properly disposing of trash, recycling, and potentially hazardous waste materials throughout the facility.

·        Cleaning and stocking restrooms and break areas with necessary supplies.

·        Performing tasks like sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, and sometimes operating industrial floor care equipment for deep cleaning.

·        Maintaining and tracking cleaning supply inventory and requesting supplies as needed. 

·        Comply with all Company Safety requirements including:
